Tanker truck FOUND already. Why hijack it and abandon it?
I cannot count the times this has already happened in other parts of the country in these past two years or so. It even happened, not with a gasoline tanker, but a large moving truck, in which vehicle was abandoned right at the entrance to district attorney’s office in one Florida county. The man actually took off running in front of security guard and never found.
I also remember the chasing of about two or three vehicles by port authority personnel nearly a year ago, also in South Florida. No one was found.
In today’s case in Baltimore, the truck was hijacked using a semi-automatic weapon. Why? For the money? Why not ask for it then and there? Why run away with such a huge vehicle; for the gas in it? Makes no sense.

Most people when hear the word Oshkosh they think it’s about something for children as OshKosh is a big name in children apparel. Even when they hear about Oshkosh trucks then they think wrongly that they can be some truck toys or other small vehicles that are shown in cartoon movies and animated picture. However, the reality is Oshkosh trucks are one of the most strong and powerful vehicles on the road that are world famous for their strength, durability and pickup power. Not just for civilians but they are widely used in emergency and military operations around the world. Even in the Iraq war they were used extensively.
They can be seen widely on road at different times, such as carrying emergency items, snow mobile trucks in winters, defense trucks, military trucks and everything in between with the feeling that they are strong enough to withstand any sudden jerk or heavy impact. Perhaps they are the trucks that are stronger than what they actually look like initially. That’s why they are the beast with a lot of power inside. The history of Oshkosh trucks is very vast and rich, as they were used in World War II and several other peace time and war time applications. Though, they aren’t jacked up trucks but due to their 4 wheel drive and all metal body with strong tire tread and design coupled with powerful engine, you can find them almost anywhere where strength and durability is required.
Another type of trucks which have a great history are Redneck trucks. Do they have red neck? Hmm…well they do have a neck type bonus design, however doesn’t necessarily need to be red. Not just their description but even their looks are funny and you can easily see them in many comedy and horror Hollywood movies. Another most distinguishing feature of Redneck truck is that the wheel well is elevated but usually covered with stick out wheel well, mostly likely as a lift truck. Though they have nothing to do with lifting or even riding on a difficult terrain but its all about the likeness of people who actually drive them and people who have designed them. No matter how funny they may look like to you and what purpose they can be used, but one thing is for sure they have a great history behind them and still can be found in many parts of our country.

Car tuning has been more than a hobby but a way of life for some people. For those of us who have no idea what tuned cars are, think of the movie “Fast and the Furious”. The idea is to take a regular car and modify it to make it something special. It can be simply changing parts to have better fuel economy. Though many tuned cars are so changed they barely resemble the car they started out as.
The idea of car tuning is to improve performance and handling of the car to suit a specific driving style. This may involve installing new turbochargers. Modifying a car’s engine cooling unit is common as well. Though some people have ripped out the entire engine and installed a more powerful engine. Changing up the suspension will change how a car handles. Often springs, shock absorbers, and sway bars will be modified. Using shorter springs give the car a lower look but also lowers the center of gravity. With shorter it is important to also change to shorter internals to stop from bottoming out. Going with stiffer shock absorbers improves the dynamic weight shifting when cornering. Stiffer sway bard improves handling response.
However car tuning modifications don’t end with just improving the performance and handling of a car. Just watch the show “Pimp my Ride” to see what can be done to a car. They tuned cars that should not have even been on the road and created high performance works of art. Let’s say you have an Audi you want to tune. What is involved in Audi tuning?
It is going to depend on what you want done. An Audi is a popular car to tune. Audi tuning to get a good power range can be done quickly and at a lower cost than some other cars. Depending on the year of your Audi parts are usually quick and easy to acquire. When tuning your Audi you will want to work on the engine and suspension for a better ride. However there is nothing stopping you from tuning the body, interior and even the audio system to create your dream car. Audi tuning can involve how it runs to how it looks and everything in between.
