simple diagram ok look at your car then look at someone elses car then look back at your car and see whats missing then replace that part then repeat the cycle all over again till your car looks like it is supposed to … oh by the way make sure when you look at someone elses car that it is the same kinda car as yours .. you wouldnt want your ford escort looking like a chevy cobalt.

Want to build a baja truck…. Tacoma, Ranger, S10 or something else ?
I am not new to mechanic work or tuning, I know what it takes to build something up well. I have owned a Toyota 4WD V6 pickup and loved it. I want to do a 2wd truck with fiberglass body panels, plush long travel suspension and a 4 cylinder (easier to work with). What truck is toughest/ can make a good baja truck ( looking to invest about $10000 mainly in frame, suspension and body work). My gut instinct tells me to go for an older 2wd Tacoma with the 2.7 inline 4 ( makes the same power as the old 3.slOw V6) . I have also seen some nicely done up Ranger pickups.
1) what pickup is good to start with?
2) do I want a single cab, extra cab? long wheelbase? short wheelbase?
3) Is there a baja/prerunner supply company/site I could look for parts on?
